ATTENTION, S'il vous plait!
Would you like to play a role speaking French? Imagine a patient arrives from France to Tallahassee with no experience in English. Here is the message from Elke Long:

The College of Medicine is doing our M1 small group patient centered cultural interviews.

If you can communicate in a foreign language other than Spanish or know someone who can,WE NEED YOU!

The goal of the small group is to help students understand how dynamics change when the patient cannot speak English and the interview must be conducted through an interpreter.

If you know someone, please send me the email address. If you are interested to participate yourself, please let me know.

The Alliance Française of Tallahassee is a French and francophone language and culture center that offers classes and activities throughout the year right in the heart of the Capital City. We are part of a global network of Alliances Françaises that is huge and ever-growing. We offer a place to learn French at all levels (individual, pair, group tutoring and classes) and to celebrate all of the aspects of daily life and the arts in diverse French-speaking places. We also hold cultural events in English. Our community is made up of members of the private, professional and university communities of Tallahassee and North Florida, as well as expats who are living here from French-speaking countries of the Caribbean, Africa, the Metropole, Canada, and elsewhere. All ages are welcome. Our philosophy is inclusive.
