AFTally and other francophone events in TallahasseeAFTally EventsEugene Bullard: A Black Expatriate in Jazz-Age ParisThe Association Française de Tallahassee and the Foreign Language Department of FAMU invite you to attend a talk by Professor Craig Lloyd.Dr. Lloyd, professor-emeritus of history at Columbus State University, is author of Eugene Bullard: Black Expatriate in Jazz-Age Paris, a little-known African-American who was a member of the Foreign Legion, recipient of the Légion d'Honneur, and a prize-fighter, musician, and promoter in "Harlem in Montmartre" between the First and Second World Wars.
