Our mission

The Association Française de Tallahassee is a Florida not-for-profit corporation. Our mission is to promote the language and culture of French speaking countries by offering French classes and cultural events such as French films, French conversation, French music, cooking seminars and other activities.

We are in the process of submitting our membership request to the "la Fondation Alliance française" and look forward to be soon recognized as a full fledge member of the AllianceFrançaise.

We encourage all francophiles to join the Association!

Come to enjoy food, company, and music at AFTAlly's annual picnic and pot-luck Bastille Day Celebration at AJ Henry Park, 3231 Whitney Drive East, Tallahassee, Florida 32309 (take East Whitney)
  • Bring a dish to share with family and friends (details on the pot-luck to follow).
  • Grills, water and softdrinks will be provided.
  • Enjoy French music performed by Miranda Yemini on accordion and Jean-Marc Wise with his guitar
  • Engage in French conversation.
